What is the Sweet Table Contest?

First of all, we should define what a Sweet Table is. Laure says; “It is the art of decorating a party table so perfectly with details and precision that it can take months to set up.  A Sweet Table is imagined and drawn. Then come the organization, the search of the perfect cake, candies, sweets, decoration and gifts. All of them have to match with the chosen theme”

The Sweet Table Contest rewards the most beautiful Sweet Table that has been designed in the world along the year.

Why launching such a contest?

Laure, the founder first decided to set up this contest when she sadly realized as much France and Europe were late concerning event planning and designs. She thought it would be a great idea creating a buzz around it to show as much this subject is sweet, pretty and gorgeous by organizing a contest rewarding the most beautiful Sweet Table that has been designed in Europe along 2010. The contest was such a success that she decided to launch the 2011 edition but this time it would reward the most beautiful tables in the world !

How to take part ?

This is very simple, if you are not a professional party designer or party planner, then look for your national judge in the jury board and send an email with your submission details. Your application email should be sent with the following subject : “STC submission”.

What is the voting process?

When all the contestants will be revealed, every judge shall place a vote via public comment for its 3 favorites Sweet Table in each country (except his country)

1st place : 3 points

2nd place: 2 points

3rd place: 1 point

This will reveal every national winner.

For the final voting process, every judge will vote, once again for its 3 favorites national winners.

1st place : 3 points

2nd place: 2 points

3rd place: 1 point

This will reveal the winner of the ongoing edition.

For the contest, criteria of selection will be based on:

1. Creativity
2. Color harmony
3. Presentation balance on the table
4. Accordance with the chosen theme
5. Overall look feeling
